They install to almost any wall surface, can survive harsh rain and snow and endure temperatures well into the minuses. Our large architectural, full cutoff 84W compact fluorescent wall packs are typical in that they deliver bright, energy efficient light drawn from normal AC power. If the power goes out, however, these units will continue to provide light via an optional backup ballast independent of the building's electricity.
